Community Rules
These rules exist to keep Swopli safe and respectful for everyone.
Be honest in descriptions
Describe your items as they really are. Real condition, defects, signs of wear. If you hesitate between "new" and "like new", choose "like new". Transparency builds trust.
Use real photos of your items
No internet photos or catalog images. Take photos of the item you have at home, with good lighting, showing all angles. The other person deserves to see what they will receive.
Keep your word
Swap arranged, swap done. Cancelling at the last minute is disrespectful to whoever organized everything on the other side. If you have an issue, notify immediately via chat.
Don't publish prohibited items
Drugs, weapons, controlled medications, live animals, fake documents, counterfeit products and items of illicit origin are absolutely prohibited. Publishing these items results in immediate account deactivation.
Keep respect in chat
You can disagree, decline and negotiate hard. You cannot insult, harass or discriminate. Messages with offensive language, discrimination or harassment lead to suspension.
Protect your personal data
Don't share passwords, banking details or sensitive personal information in chat. Swopli will never ask for your password. Keep all negotiation within the app for your protection.
Report suspicious behavior
Use the report button in the app if you find something outside the rules. You can also report without an account via our report channel. Moderation analyzes within 24h.
Accept moderation decisions
Eligible Swap Protection disputes follow our 3-level process: automatic checks, human review and final platform decision. Local trades and any non-protected shipping trades, if ever available, are handled through reports, moderation, account actions and reputation rules, without protected checkout refunds or compensation. Decisions are binding within the platform. If you disagree, you can question via email within 7 days.
One person, one account
Don't create fake accounts or multiple accounts. Don't impersonate another person, brand or store. Reputation manipulation with secondary accounts is detectable and leads to deactivation.
Local meetings in safe places
For in-person swaps, choose public, busy places: cafes, malls, stations. Avoid going to strangers' homes on the first swap. Let someone you trust know about the meeting.
